It is here where volunteers wil direct runners to take a left and head south west on the trail heading towards Walden Park. At Oak Rd. runners make a hairpin turn into the park and negotiate the pathway. This is a favorite section of the course and trees are beautiful at this time of year. As runners exit the back side of the park, they will run on the dirt pat of the trail until they cross Walden Rd. At this point runners be on the Iron Horse Trail which will bring them straight back down and into the Park. This is a fast course and about as flat as they come.
